914mm one yard kerb
Pipeline and Drainage Systems plc have developed 1 yard (914mm) 5 x 10 (250mm x 125mm) half battered kerb made from recycled material, yet with the appearance of concrete and complimented by a full range of components and with improved handling ability.
Lightweight
The product weighs just 15kg and therefore offers health and safety benefits over heavy traditional materials. We have located two inlets in the rear face of the kerb to assist in the lifting and moving into position.
Recycled
Manufactured from lightweight recycled materials, therefore giving environmental benefits by its use. At the end of its useful life the kerb can be recycled with the material being used to make new kerbs.
Strong and robust
The recycled material used is extremely strong, highly resistant to withstand impact, but robust enough to withstand transportation, site movement and installation.
Appearance
We have taken great care to achieve a similar final appearance to traditional concrete so that the product can be used as a replacement alongside traditional kerbs.
Chemical resistance
The materials used in the manufacture of the kerb is resistant to all forms of effluents such as diesel and road salts etc.
