Designed to meet growing demands for greener materials and greener ways of working, our Enviro-range of drainage products are also the lightest, strongest and safest drainage solutions on the market.
The range currently consists of
- Envirokerb - the first fully recycled, kerb drainage solution
- Envirodeck - the composite, combined kerb bridge drainage system
- Envirochannel - the first fully-recycled, one-piece drainage channel
- Envirochambers - fully recycled manhole chamber sections
- Envirograte - non-metallic gratings for manhole covers and gullies
- ITkerb - the new innovative solution to cabling and communications infrastructure
The materials we use for our Enviro-range of products are the greenest on the market, helping you reduce your carbon footprint and meeting the growing environmental demands from developers and councils. Envirokerb and Envirochannel are made from 100% recycled plastic, reducing the amount of waste which would otherwise be sent to landfill. And all our products are manufactured here in the UK, so there’s no additional carbon cost in transporting them from overseas.
The Enviro-range are the lightest units on the market - which means they can be installed manually, speeding up installation time and reducing the need for traffic and machinery on site.
Tests show that the Enviro-range are the strongest products on the market - up to thirty times stronger than traditional concrete products.
Contractors tell us that the lightweight nature of our products makes them the fastest on the market for installation - reducing installation times by up to 400%.
Because the materials used are significantly lighter there's a much smaller risk of personal injury through lifting, not to mention the reduction in risk of harmful dust, noise and vibration associated with cutting concrete, making the Enviro-range the safest products on the market.
Our innovative product designs also help to solve long-standing problems in the construction industry. Take the ITkerb - an entirely new concept in communications infrastructure which combines a lightweight kerb unit with a conduit for bringing cables right to your front door.
Enviro - Lighter. Stronger. Faster. Safer. And Greener.
It's no surprise to find our Enviro-products have proved to be a huge success with contractors, councils and developers. Feedback about their design and materials has been overwhelmingly positive, from the smallest projects to the most prestigious, such as the Upper Forth Crossing in Kincardine.
‘The benefits are speed of installation, being able to lay manually, which is financially beneficial to the client, and environmentally friendly due to the use of re-cycling materials, rather than 100% virgin aggregates.’
Jonny Edwards & Son, Kerb-laying contractors.
‘As well as being much easier to handle the use of Envirokerb has reduced the amount of underground drainage works required’
Section Engineer on Upperton Viaduct Scheme.
